What is the best stich to use when sewing a large round patch on my daughter's GI?

She has a jiu-jitsu uniform and I need to install/attach a large round patch in the back of her top Gi and one small round patch on the arm of the gi. I have a singer future xl-400 sewing machine. She has a competition this Saturday and need to get this done by no later than tomorrow. Two girls 4 patches

Yes, a zigzag sewing stitch will be perfect, but a triple zigzag will be even better. Just in case you want to make sure that it will last. By the way, which BJJ gi is your daughter wearing? I bought for my son 2 Elite Sports Gi which were pretty cheap and seem to be well built. He has them for half of the year already and they didn't damage at all. I'm not too much into the BJJ theme but he likes it. I'm guided by his coach and the internet. If you need some useful information about the BJJ online, go on BJJ Gi Reviews, they cover everything about BJJ wear.

Use an applique stitch, which is a zigzag stitch set on a very short stitch length

My wimsew sewing machine is not feeding the material properley changing from large to small stiches

sounds like the feed dogs need to be checked if the machine is not feeding the fabric thru
also sounds like the sewing machine needs some type of adjustment since it's going from large to small stitches.

My stiches keep missing a stich

SKIPPED STITCHES
1.the needle is not inserted correctly
2.the needle is damaged
3.the wrong size needle is being used
4.the foot is not attached correctly
if these suggestions don't help the the machine could be out of
time & the machine would need to be taken to a sewing machine
shop to be checked

I have a White 2037. The tension seems to be off. Small stiches then a large large space

Rethread the machine and change the needle. IF that doesn't do the trick then your timing needs to be adjusted.

Stitching problems with my sewing machine

Make sure first of all that you have a perfect needle in and the correct way round, failing that you may need to retime the machine, if you email me I will attach instructions.

Machine model 19233

On my machine I find that my bottom and top free motion stitches are more uniform when I set my needle thread tension at 8 or 9. This is inaddition to what you are already doing. Also, you might want to use a top stitch needle.

Good luck,
