Tiffen is a brand of filters not a lens.
if your sigma lens will work on 1 camera and not on the other then check the lens mount, electronic contacts, clean them if needed.
check the settings in the camera if there needs to be a change.

Question edited for clarity.

You get the Sigma lens for the camera in Canon fit.

Can you use Sigma lenses on Canon cameras?
Since Sigma lenses are made to be fully compatible with Canon cameras, they are backwards-compatible. This means that you can use a Sigma lens on a Canon DSLR camera. Similarly, the Sigma cameras are backwards-compatible with Canon lenses. Macro adapter loses the AF feature.

Is this lens compatible with a Canon Rebel XS digital camera

Sigma makes lenses with a variety of mounts to fit a variety of cameras. If the lens has a Canon mount then it will work with your XS. If has some other mount, Nikon for example, then it will not.

Does Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens fit canon eos rebel

Sigma makes their lenses with a variety of camera mounts. If you get the lens with a Canon mount then yes, it will fit any EOS Rebel camera body. A lens with a Pentax mount, for example, will not fit a Canon camera.

Have a 13 month old Sigma 18-250 lens that has been working fine up until 3 weeks ago when i get Error 01 message that there is a communication problem between camera and lens, please clean contacts. Have...

Hi, I am having the same problem with the same lens. Only news I have found so far was in a spanish language forum, used google translate and it sounds like the guy had to have it repaired. In my case, the lens is about 18 months old and I find other lenses work fine on my T2i. The forum I read mentioned a ribbon cable within the lens that can break, but the translations were too poor to tell if it was the problem for sure or not.

I have a Canon EOS 630, 35-135 ultrasonic lens and a 300EZ canon flash. I want to get the new Rebel T2i and was wondering if I can use my old flash and lens and have all the TTL and auto focusing features...

Different technology between your film camera and the digital era The flash won't synchronize properly with the new digital you will need an EX type flash the 35-135 will work but because the digital has a focal factor of 1.6 compared to your 35-135 it will become a 56-216mm. Keep your EOS 630 as a back up to the digital.

If the lens has a Nikon mount (as you imply in the post), then no, it will not fit. If it has a Canon mount, then yes, it will work fine on your Canon Rebel.
