My BC 1691 bread machine will not begin its cycle. An 'Alert' message is on the screen? What does this mean?

Just though I would let you guys know if you are looking for a Betty Crocker Bread Maker model bc-1691 Recipes & Manual you can call 1-800-446-1898 and General Mills, owner of Betty Crocker, will send you a manual free if you give them a call.

This Betty Crocker bread maker was made by ACA and is no longer in production but they have a few maunals left they will mail out.

Hi, I looked at the manual for your machine and it does not have the "beep" alert for adding fruit and nuts etc.
One of the recipes from your manual just says to add them in the beginning. Given that fact go ahead and add them be fore your last long knead.

Next time just add them with everything else. I was kind of surprised to see you don't have the beep alert for add-ins but per your manual YOU DON'T!..sorry...
