Have a Whirlpool Gold Accubake Double Oven. After a power outage, the display is dark and ovens are not responding to keypad. Lights work both from doors and keypad. Directions?

this is usually a problem with the keypad, most techs would say to replace the keypad, if that doesnt solve it, the main board will need to be replaced. make sure your connectors are tight if you decide to kill power and replace the keypad

This blank display is a common control board problem. If the buttons beep when pressed, then the control board is getting adequate power. If the buttons beep.. and your oven light still turns on when the oven door is open.. this a text book control board failure. A small fuse is mounted in line with the power going into the control.

F2 - E6 Cancel key drive line open 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I was just looking over a manual for a late model double oven. Their is a thermal limit going into the controls that will open if the temp rises enough to harm the controls. They look like this one. That kills all power to the control and you will see nothing on the display.

F2 E3: Key held down too long or key is shorted.
Check keypad connector for firm connection. Press Cancel, if error returns after 60s replace keypad.

try turning power off and wait 10mins and see if it resets.

take the trim peices off. take the screws that hold it to the wall out slidee unit out a little to remove the 2 screws from the consol lift the consol up and off. make sure that you have turned the power off inside the unit you will see a tech sheet that will tell you what that error code means. let me know how it goes the tech sheet is usually on the left side.
