There is no specific driver for OpenOffice, once you will install driver above, your scanner will work will any office product.

Very simple solution: When the pixma mp620 screen shows error U130, Hold down the stop (red triangle) key for about 7 - 10 seconds. This overrides/turns off the ink monitoring function. The printer will begin "thinking" for a bit and then start printing. Note: you may have to do this seperately for each color. You'll also notice that when the lid is open and the cartridges are in position for changing, the cartridges that used to be "out" are no longer flashing red, nor a stead red. They are dark.

Take it back to where you bought it and get them to replace it or fix it under the guarantee.

I had similar problem: everything muted and with brownish tint. Tried everything, finally discovered that I installed wrong cartridge: 6PC instead of 6C. The "photo" cartridges are pretty much the same, make sure you have the right ones: 6C, 6M, and 6Y.

Please de active the redeye option on your camera setting.
And restore the factory setting and turn off camera for 5 minutes after this use it.
