SOURCE: Display Stops after 5mins

As a follow up to Benimur's post and if you are considering a DIY, the following might be of further help:

  • a cleaning of the inside with the use of a can of compressed air and a vacuum cleaner;
  • source of Service manual;
  • correct user's manual;
  • often the problem is heat related or sensor(s) erroneously reading false temperature;
  • to my knowledge the NEC MT1050 uses a JED T460 projector controller with several smaller PCBs for various sensors. A possible source of parts.
Cheers.

SOURCE: I have a wd65100 when powered on i get steady

Hi

This issue can be due to ballast fan, lamp or high temperature. However, to figure out this we'll need to check for the TV from inside(wiring & testing the components) or the other way is when the lights blink again then follow the procedure given. After you turn on the set, and get the red blinking lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.

The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 4 flashes, then 1 flash = 41.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Hi, have you replaced the lamp after 2-3 yrs of usage? The lamps used by mitsubishi tend to last around 4000 hrs 1-3 yrs.It is common for the green light to light up.Other common failures are the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.Also check if its not overheatin, dust out the fans.Heres where u can get the lamp or ballast http://www.discount-merchant.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=wd-52631

How can I change the contacts in my AVAYA EU24? it's connected to a AVAYA 2420

In the user manual of the EU24 you can't find anything about changing contacts. My guess is, you only can read the contacts already stored in your 2420. So I think you only can change contacts in the phone. When you are 100% sure you could change it on the EU24 to, please let me know and I will try to find out how.

Power the carrier off. Pollow the power cord on the right side of the 5 slot carried. There will be a pull switch or a rocker switch. turn off.

Once power out, remove bad module, there is a tab on the top OR bottom depending on the age of your carrier. Pull card away from wall, and insert new card.

Power system back up.
