Create the multiple slide shows and store them in a directory that you have created on your hard disk just for those slide shows. When all the slide shows are present in that directory, start Roxio, use the Add Files function and go to that directory and select all of the files you want on the DVD. Name the DVD to something that indicates what is on it and start the Create/Burn to make your DVD.

SOURCE: using roxio creator basic v9 when i burn disc its writing to the disc (700MB) without giving free space,i just made a copy of original cd which has 162MB,after writing to new disc, showing 700MB used..

Burned CDs always show as being fully used. That is so users don't think they can just copy files onto it. The way to find out how much free space is to subtract the amt. of space used from the capacity of the CD. Also most CDs are burn-once so after you burn it you can't add or delete files anyway. Only CD or DVD "RW" (read-write) discs allow you to re-use them.

SOURCE: I am trying to burn

hi,
Try reducing the size of the file and go for a simulation first if possible to see that it ends successfully.

SOURCE: my SONY DVD+RW DW-56A won't burn a DVD

I am suspecting that you are running into a copyright issue that wasn't removed when they made the copy.... or the copy was corrupted... will it play back on your machine ?

SOURCE: roxio creator 2009 burning issues

Here's a few things you can try:

1.) Download Service Pack 3 for Creator 2009. This updates the software and is recommended.

http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/c2009/software_updates.html

2.) Update your CD/DVD burner drives. This can be done by going to the manufacturers website and checking for updates. (Ex: If you purchased your computer from Dell and it came with a built in burner, you'd check Dell.com for updates.)

3.) Update the PX Engine. This is Roxio software that communicates with the CD/DVD burner drives.

4.) If all else fails, try visiting this KB article:

Roxio burning program for dvd is not allowing my dvd selection from My documents to go to the D drive to burn. It keeps sending it back to the c drive.

Just in case you have not resolved the problem yet. You can re-install the software if you still have the original disk or a temporary solution could be to move the "My Documents" folder to the D:\ drive
