Have you ever performed a force eject from the PS3 by holding down the eject button

If you have this can cause the tack to become unaligned and thus rejects the disk

If you are under warranty that's the way to go if not a repair shop

Or is you do know your way around a PS3 bluray drive then here's how I align my drive

The photo I can provide if you wish cant post it here

  1. Drive teeth can get terribly misaligned because of worn gear teeth, you may find it easier to reassemble the drive in the loaded position.
  2. With your Blu-ray drive open, remove the platform that holds the rollers. The only one screw is circled in red. Be careful about touching the plastic bumpers circled in blue. Short instructions under "Tips", in case you do.
  3. Twist the white gear denoted with yellow clockwise until the the gear separates from the black platform on the left hand side of the drive. Practically every gear in this area moves every other gear, but the white one seems the easiest to twist. Keep twisting until the two catches circled in green are completely lowered.
  4. Realign the black platform and twist the white gear counterclockwise until the two catches are fully raised. These catches keep you from inserting a second disc. You should not have to twist the white gear fully counterclockwise and it is a good idea not to. Make sure the left black platform is not tight against anything - especially the stuff towards the bottom edge.
  5. Pull the rollers outwards as the pink arrows indicate and screw the roller platform back onto the drive. When this is done, your rollers should be slightly loose. Work with the rollers and the white gear until they were just tight enough to loosely hold a CD as though the drive were reading it.
  6. Insert a junk CD along the top half of the drive as though the drive were accepting it. Pay attention to how the junk CD locks into place as though you still cared about it.
  7. While holding the CD in its loaded position, pop the top half of the Blu-ray drive onto the bottom half. You can shake it lightly, but if it doesn't come together smoothly, something might be misaligned. Go back and tweak until it comes together with relative ease. Don't forget the white magnet.
  8. Screw everything (that you feel like) back together, boot up your PS3, and eject your junk CD. It should come out smoothly and be re-accepted smoothly.
If this has been some use to you then a rating would be great

Thanks

We got a game stuck in the wii consele....We tried ejecting the game as well as turning the game off...nothing is working.

You have to try out all these options first:

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds.

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

If none of this works, you might wanna try this, but it is not a preferred method, if you ask me, even though it can be done.

To remove a disc you'll need three sets of tweezers. And possibly a bobby-pin.
First you need to turn the Wii upside down (and preferably unplugged from a power source)
Second, using two sets of tweezers, press the small metal "guards" down. These are located just inside the mouth of the Wii. They're there to keep the disc from free falling, and inhibit their removal. They aren't locked and shouldn't be difficult to press down.
Third, you'll need to reach "up" through the middle of the mouth with the third set of tweezers to grab hold of the disc. I'd highly recommend using flat tweezers, not sharp ones as the disc may become scratched.
NOTE: The disc itself rests on the internal carriage (through the center hole of the disc) and if upside down, should fall into your tweezer's grasp easily. If it doesn't then you need a bobby pin to dislodge. Gently press the bobby pin on top of the disc and then grip the disc with the tweezers.
Finally, gently pull and the disc and push on the bobby pin and the disc will slide out easily .

This can be done with one person, but helps if you have an extra hand.
Good luck.

Wii disc not ejecting

Open the console again, cover the laser with electrical tape, or some such, and begin again. You probably just forgot to seat something properly, or plug the power supply back into the drive, but test the operation at every stage with the cover off until it works with the unit fully assembled. I hope you have a properly rated laser.

PS3 will not eject the disc nor acknowledge the game being in the console

NEVER EVER TURN YOUR SYSTEM OF WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING ONLINE AND THE GAME FREEZES!!!...

Just try to wait for 30 - 50 sec.
If that does not work than EJECT THE DISC AND THAN TURN OF THE SYSTEM, It has nothing to do with your PS3, Check your connection status and reset all your internet settings BUT NOT THE SYSTEM ITSELF.

If this still doesnt work than there's something wrong with the disc.
