Pull out the crown and advance hands forwards. When the hour and minute hand will pass 12 o'clock (midnight), you will notice the day hand will jump to the next (following) day. Advance hands as long as needed to reach the desired day.

The only was to fix that is to take it into a watch repair shop. I'm sorry there isn't much you can do on your own without the necessary tools that watch repair people have. Thanks for using FixYa.

Most makers have a limited warranty and does not cover anything outside the case.
Have you tried any of the local watch repairers; on the face of it, it sounds to me that a watch repairer should be able to fix it for you.
Each link near the clip has a Spring- loaded PIN securing it to the other link, remove as many links you need and join the two open ends back together, a watch shop will do it too. $$
