Connect your wireless modem router Sign on to AOL. Download the AOL Easy Installer for Thomson 576 Wireless Modem Router. When prompted to save the file to a location select an appropriate place (desktop is a good example). Once the AOL Easy Installer is downloaded, double click the file: ST_V1.exe This will launch the modem router installer and show the "Welcome" screen. Click the Start Installation button to continue. If you wish to cancel, click the Cancel Installation button. Read the next page carefully. The text advises to close any running programs, ensure to close your AOL software also. Click Next to continue. Please Note: Connect a DSL filter to each telephone socket that is in use for telephones, dial-up modems and fax machines, etc. If you require additional DSL filters, order online at AOL Keyword Broadband Extras. Notes: Ensure to use AOL 8.0 or above. The AOL account to be used for the modem router set up must be a General (18+) account. This installer is not supported with a modem router containing beta firmware.

Thomson 585 v6 we're is the wps button.

Hello:

According to the manual, the Thomson ST585v6 doesn't support WPS. You will have to record the wireless passphrase and enter it manually in the device you're trying to install on the network.

I did a Google search for the model number you gave and the quoted string "default password". I found an install manual at the bottom of the search results at link:

How do I find and access the address and password to my Speed Touch 534818 home hub?

I couldn't find the model number of the speedtouch router that you've mentioned but this site has a long list of IP addresses and default usernames/passwords for the Thomson speedtouch range. Open a web browser and type in the IP address in the address bar such as 192.168.1.254, if the router responds you will be asked for a username and password, systematically work through the list on the afore mentioned site until you gain access. However, these details are sometimes printed onto a label on the router itself so I'd look there first for these details and the correct model number of your router in order to save yourself some time.

what u need to do is go to the interface of ur thomson speed touch through writing the ip address of that modem on the address bar of ur internet browser then go in that setup....Choose router instead of bridge.
