I just bought a brand new Dyson Animal V6 Handheld vacuum cleaner and it won't start. I have charged it for more than an hour.

Take it back, any attempt to repair it will void the warranty.

My Dyson v6 animal vacuum won't charge

Hello. I have the same problem as Shelly. My Dyson will not charge. When removed form the charger the LED light flashes a few times and then stops. The motor does not run at all. When the machine is returned to the charger the same thing happens. LED light flashes , then stops! The power supply from the mains plug is live. Any ideas please? From Eleanor O'Neill.

Charge only lasts a very short time, unit only 10 days old, should I hope last longer?

I would contact Dyson. It sounds like you may have a defective battery. Considering Dyson products cost an arm & leg, I would want this fixed/replaced under warranty.
