Bought a used wenzel 8 person granite point 3 room family dome tent on ebay.how do I set it up or get instructions to set it up???

I have found some instructions online with directions on assembling a Wenzel tent. However, none of them are clear is they are for the Swiss Gear tent style 36288.

If you have not already done so, I suggest you contact the Wenzel Tent & Gear Co. directly and ask a Customer Service representative about the availability of assembly instructions for your Wenzel tent style. The company may hold instructions in the corporate archives which can be copied (for a fee) for you.

* looks like only Amazon supports this brand. I suspect "Wenger" the official Swiss brand has been after them for using their name.

* Note; even with the tent open. You will need to repair rotted ties and parts. Many coatings will degrade (and smell) where it's not worth the time to repair or unsafe to use. Pull apart but keep in mind that at some point you may want to stop.

You might be able to get help at [email protected] but Avid sells tents by many manufacturers.

CONTACT MANUFACTURER FOR REPLACEMENT POLES ..OR # AND LENGTHS/DIAMETER OF POLES AND FABRICATE YOUR OWN...PERHAPS EVEN WITH SCHEDULE 40 OR BETTER PVC

The instructions are lost. I need to know how to assemble the tent.

Wenzel does. They e-mailed me one for a different model that I bought on eBay. They're website doesn't offer any help but they were very helpful when I called!

If you have the model number (which is sown on a label inside the door flap) you can e-mail Wentzel as I have done and they will send you the set-up instructions. Or email me at [email protected] and I will send you the attachment I recieved.

This tent is properly protected from the rain, i used it and it was just fine, not a drop of rain came in.

Of course there was a bit of a condensation, but i haven't met a tent that didn't suffer from this problem when it rains.
