There should be a relay under the hood for the security system, if you can not find it, try jacking the front of the car up, it should have a sensor that tells it that it is being towed and should turn off, unless of course it has a bad wire that is grounding out.

to test your alarm, try opening the window ... lock your vehicle with the remote ... wait 2+ minutes ... reach inside the open window and open the door ... the alarm should sound ... have your remote ready to shut it off (using the unlock button on the remote)

Join up the wires in the tailgate catch and the drivers door for the anti theft circuit the nthe unit thinks its allways unlocked so wont sound off .
