Please set the MODE to P (Programmed Auto) In this mode YOU control the flash, not the camera. Inside where it is not bright. Set your ISO to 800 and take a photo indoors with low light. Then pop up the flash and do it again. P lets you take a photo with the flash down or UP it is the only mode I suggest most people should use. :)

My nikon D60 and the pop up flash dosent work

the flash pivot on the release side of the flash has a small cylinder that operates the flash up switch. If that cylinder is broken off or the pivot is pushed in so the switch doesn't close, then what you describe happens

pop up the flash and remove the two screws underneath, and you can pry off the cover - gently - to check the switch

I have a nikon d60 and cannot get the pop up flash to work, any help would be appreciated.

there is a button just to the left of the flash on the camera that should pop up the flash or if you are in auto mode it shoud pop up by itself.. if these do not work then your flash is stuck and you could just pull up in it and it should open but I dont recommend that just in case you break it.. but I have done that several times

Hello i have nikon d60 and the flash do not pup out

In what mode(s)? In the point&shoot modes the camera decides whether to pop up the flash. In PSAM modes you decide.

Have a nikon d60 and the flash will not go off even when in a dark situation. Pops up but no flash?

if it pops up then the sensor is working and the mechanical parts are working,

Next is manual force flash test, if is manually flashes, the bulb is good else replace the bulb.

What is night mode on a Nikon d60. How do I turn it on and off?

Night mode?

Do you mean Night Portrait mode? Select it by turning the mode dial to the appropriate icon, deselect it by turning the mode dial to some other mode.

Do you mean flash? It pops up automatically in the point&shoot modes (except for Sports, Landscape, and NoFlash). You have to pop it up in PSAM modes.
