Hello!
Sounds like an issue with your display connection. Make sure the HDMI cable you are using is in perfect working condition and that both ends are firmly connected to television/console.
Hope it helped!
its a ps4 so it comes with a hdmi cable. Place the hdmi cable into the back of the ps4 and put the other end into a hdmi input
on the TV . Don't know the TV but usually there are a number of HDMI input ports on most modern tv's.
Then switch tv source to HDMI .
Happy gaming Phillip
you will have to plug the usb cable into the controller and into the front of the PS4 and then charge the controller by pressing the power button on ps4. The controller has to be paired to the ps4. The manual that came with the ps4 should go into it in more detail.
1.Put your PS3 on standby.
2. Unplug the power lead.
3. Connect HDMI cable to HDMI out on PS3 and HDMI in on TV
4. Connect PS3 so that the red standby light is showing
5. Hold down the On/Off button until you hear a second beep. The PS3 will try and detect the display output settings on your monitor.

Are you using an HDMI cable? Make sure it's a an HDMI 1.4 model cable which will allow for maximum 1080p resolution and bandwidth. Older cable can't handle the throughput. Are you using the one supplied with the PS4 or another one you had lying around? Try a different cable first before anything else.
Is you tv set to 1080p resolution or automatic? Try checking that, as well. If your PS4 is set to pump out 1080p and your tv is set to receive 720p it will cause issues.
Its known issue with the PS4s that some when inspected at the factory they forgot to bend a piece of metal down in the HDMI port. If you take a light and look into the HDMI port you will see a small metal prong sticking up, you need to bend that down as shown.
