New Chocolate 3, charged fully; won't turn on

Phone was working fine yesterday. Ran down. I plugged it in to charge. The screen says that the charge is complete, but the phone won't turn on. The phone is two weeks old.

This may mean that this is a hardware malfunction, and that it should be taken back to the place from where it was purchased for either repairs, or refund.
Some possible solutions: Take the battery out, and put it back in, then try turning to cell back on.
Call the support line for the company that sells this phone, in this case, it is LG.

if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.

Battery works on another chocolate, but when inserted into this chocolate, it says it has no charge and powers down....is there something that can be done for the phone to recognize battery?

i am having a somewhat similar problem with my samsung gleam. so far all i did was pull out the "bad" battery and put a battery into that phone that i know was charged. when i did that, the phone worked. then i put the "bad battery" into my phone and turned it on. it immediately shut off. i plug in my car charger and nothing, no indication it was charging or anything. i take it home and plug in my wall charger to it and after half hour, charges fine. try swapping batteries and then charging in a phone you know will charge it, that is what i am getting at here.

hold the end key to turn on.. if nothing happens plug it in.. i had to charge mine for abour 2 1/2 hours before it would work

you simply fried your battery by overcharging it. Just get a new one, let it fully charge and fully die twice before you start normal charging. Then you will want to only charge it for about 2 to 3 hours or find a charger that has a smart chip that tells it when to stop charging once the battery is full.
