You have to go to the gift card section and apply the gift card there first, once you have done this you will have the option to pay with gift card balence at checkout

not sure you can by coins with a amazon gift card. Id go to the options on your amazon account to double check

Go to Amazon website
Go to Accounts & Lists
Go to Gift Cards
Go to Add Gift Card
Enter your Card Information
It will show your cards balance
When you purchase an item, select Gift Card as payment method

Register card in Gift Card Section of Your Account on Amazon.
The amount will show up there.
When you purchase an item you can then select Gift Card as your payment method.

locate order in your orders list on Amazon site
press edit order button.
select change payment method.

Note: You need to register gift card on Gift Card section of Your Account before Gift Card can be used as a payment method.
