The bobbin has nothing to do with the feed teeth
however it is possible that at some point you moved the forward /reverse knob lever to middle where the teeth will not move

Singer Electronic Control Sewing Machine 3343C--- The tread on the bottom of the fabric bunches up when sewing . The top thread OK What is my proble?

Hi Cat,
This seems to be a common problem, but easy to fix. Check the bobbin, and see if the thread feeds out quickly when holding the thread and letting the bobbin case drop. You should see a small screw on the front of the bobbin case for adjustment. Screw that until the drop rate is slight. You may need to adjust a few times to get just the right rate of feed.
Hope this helps, Please rate and comment, Thank You

Check your bobbin threading, it is usually the opposite of what you think.

Sewing machine won't raise the bobbin thread

Hi. The two main reasons why the top thread doesn't pick up the bobbin thread is either the needle is inserted wrong or the needle is bent. Since your machine was sewing properly until the thread broke, I'd be inclined to think the needle may have gotten bent. Sometimes this can happen if you sew over a pin.

Change the needle (making sure the flat side of the needle shank is inserted properly for your machine) and see if that solves the problem. Let me know if it helps, ok?

My Singer 507 sewing machine keeps on jamming up, the thread gets wound around the bobin and jams. I have thread the machine as in the manual. PLEASE, PLEASE could you help.

If you have the 507 with the grey or black plastic bobbin case you may need to undo the two screws on the right hand side on the silver bit and push it over to the bobbin case so it is tight or enough gap between the bobbin case and the silver bit about a thread width.
