You must first connect directly to the Echo and configure. The as with any Wifi device enter the SSID and password/key. If your router has a guest mode, set-up with no password to see if it will connect that way.

Amazon Alexa Dot unit won't connect to the Internet while other WiFi devices connect fine. Doing the Alexa Dot Setup doesn't help. WiFi Router Modem was changed recently.

    this is a WiFi problem error, all you have to do is to fix your wireless router to work with echo device. either you just updated the wireless router password recently, just update the password in Alexa app also the problem can be because of unsupported network frequencies.
