After few minutes LCD picture went black but sound works ok

I have Insignia LCD TV, I use it as TV and Computer LCD.
After 5 minutes of work as TV picture went black but sound remains okay.
ON VGA mode it works longer as 25-30 minutes then went black but sound is okay again.
What is the problem? what part to replace?

Most likely the power inverter, also suspect the p/s. best to have a trained tech check it. Julio at [email protected]

Your TVs' backlight inverter board has damaged. It should be replaced.
This id the picture of the damaged board. You can do it by yoursef, if you have sound knoledge in electronics. OK.

Picture went black. Have sound but no picture

Tv turn on now,u only have a flashes of a picture for a few sec. than died have sound left ony?Yes,the tv have 2 long boards call the LCD inverter boards,one on it left and one on it right sides.These 2 long LCD inverter boards are dead.These 2 long LCD inverter boards help the LCD picture screen panel to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those refurbishes 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.
