I bought a used jukiHZLT600, I need a foot control and owners manual

you can probably get a user manual by going google and typing in -- user manual for juki model hzi-t600 sewing machine--- and downloading any pdf versions
as for the foot control, most are either resistance controllers or electronic controllers so talk with a service dealer or a sewing machine repair shop ti get the pedal control or to find out where you can get one . the problem will be the plug fitting for the pedal control into the machine or motor

If you mean the foot controller, then the T/FC-322 is a substitute that should work. It's listed as a replacement here: http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/234522001.php . The manual for the NX400 gives the foot controller as XC1154-051 . Brother changes the part number often but the wiring remains the same. The F04 message may mean there is an internal failure. This probably needs to be fixed by a Brother authorized repair person.

Difficult to advise. Can you operate it manually by turning the handwheel clockwise? Does the motor make noise when you step on the foot control but the needle does not move?

It appears to be a mechanical machine. If so, it could need a good cleaning and oiling. That is probably a good place to start. (Consult your owner's manual and use ONLY fresh good quality sewing machine oil.) Could be a multiple of other things, ie loose/broken belt, foot control failure, carbon brushes or capacitor, electrical problem, motor problem... Probably best to take it in for service.

It most likely is your foot pedal. Unplug your foot pedal and start the machine without it. If it works properly without the foot pedal plugged in then your foot pedal needs repaired or replaced. This worked for us with the NX400 machine and I am sure the NX450 is closely similar. Don't bother to buy a Manual if you didn't already get one with the machine. A Service manual and parts manual is best; But just so you know they don't show the error codes unless you are a qualified and authorized repair person for the machines. I got my info from the repair man where my wife buys and repairs her machines. I am an electronic technician and mechanic so I understand how this system works. I will be repairing my wife's machines from now on.

Yes it does sound like a faulty foot control. The power cord is probably fine, you just need the controller. Ebay is a good source for parts.
