In looking up this TV, it doesn't show a USB port anywhere.
The manual doesn't mention it. NewEgg doesn't mention it. C/net doesn't mention it.
There's a pc audio port, VGA, 75ohm antenna, 3 HDMI and a Coaxial.
Did you mean any of these?
If there is a USB, it's probably only used for software updates.
Having devices connected during reinstallation of the Operating System will lead to a faulty detection on the USB ports.
Connected devices will not be recognized.
How to get the USB ports functioning again:
>0. First disconnect all apparatus connected to the USB ports.
Step 1.1 will take a long time again, I'd prefer step 1.2:
1.1 Perform a new installation of Windows XP (the long way) or
>1.2 Delete all USB hardware in the Control Panel (the short way).
>2. Install the software for your device and perform an update.
Update Windows Media Player 11 and / or Coby Media Manager.
>3. Open the software WMP11 or the Coby Media Manager.
Connect the device and make a setup for connection in the software you use.

Make sure you have plugged your Coby MP3 player into a USB 2.0 port. The Coby does not support the USB 1.0 standard. If you are getting an error that "This device can perform faster..." your port is an older USB type. I have both types on my computer and the Coby would not install until I plugged it into my 2.0 port.
