My JBL cinema SB350 sound bar keeps cutting out during movies. Also, I can't sync the sub woofer with the sound bar even after pressing the pairing button within 30 seconds of each other. Help?

I also have a jbl soundbar and it was cutting in and out . I looked it up and no one could help with the issue . I just so happened to look on the remote itself and there is an audio synch button .... hit the minus button till you get to 000 and just go 1 by one till it gets better! I don’t know if you have to do it with each different show,movie or youtube video but so far it has helped a little.

Would JBL SB350 subwoofer be compatible with different model JBL sound bar?

After looking at your user manual I see a Bluetooth powered sub with a standard AC cord. This should work with other Bluetooth devices provided JBL hasn't done something proprietary with this system. See https://www.groupon.com/articles/how-does-bluetooth-work for a fairly good explanation of Bluetooth. Then, before buying anything, I would call JBL tech support and rule out the "proprietary" possibility (+44 161 222 3325).

Subwoofer deconnects

I have no experience of wireless speakers but I think you should contact the seller, if the unit is still under warranty or perhaps the support section of the manufacturer's website.
Certainly do read the instrucion manual.

I am guessing but either the wireless signal is being lost (depends on the function of the blue light) or the subwoofer is malfunctioning after a few minutes and the built-in thermal or overload protection is switching it off. The thump sound could be it trying to switch on again and finding the fault is still present.

My SB350 is connected directly to cable TV decoder via optical, decoder to tv HDMI. There sound distorting/crackling on some tv channels.

Can't sync my JBL SB400 subwoofer to the soundbar??....it flashes blue and goes back to orange. Sound bar works but can't pair sub!..HELP!!

PAIRING THE JBL SB400 FOR WIRELESS OPERATION
After turning the soundbar and subwoofer on for the first time, you will need to "pair" the subwoofer and soundbar so they both operate at the same wireless frequency. To pair the units, press the Wireless Pairing switches on both units within 30 seconds of each other. The units will communicate with each other and operate at the same frequency.
