First why is the tray set for size A4 Paper. That is metric size paper for oversea locations. Should be set for 81/2"x11, or 11"x81/2.. is there any paper stuck behind the 1st tray? are the guides that hold the paper in place in the draw snug up aganist the paper in the draw. is the bottom sheet of paper in the stack/rem of paper benton the edge. All sheets of paper in the draw must be flat.

How to setting E02-02 code panasonic photocopier machine

Hi.

Panasonic Workio DP-1820P error code E02-01 These instructions describe error code E02-01 solution for a Panasonic Workio DP-1520p, DP-1820P copier machine. This should solve your problem; this introduction will help you to troubleshoot some common error messages related to Panasonic Workio DP-1520p, DP-1820P Error Code E2-01, E2-02, E2-03, and E2-04 that you may receive.

Meaning of E02-01 the Error Code:

E02-01 means the Tray 1 cassette lifting motor unit fault. These machines use a lift motor encased in a plastic drive gear casing. Usually something inside the casing breaks, this usually happens in trays that have Ledger or Legal paper installed. The weight of the paper can cause these gear packs to break. Also if the customer loads letter paper in a tray set up for larger paper sizes.

How to fix the error:

Maybe a problem with tray 1 lift motor either you have a bad motor, Pull the paper tray out and see if the paper is lodged behind the tray, Also make sure the white coupling on the rear wall is in one piece. Check that the flag on the back of the tray is still present. Mostly it is broken and sometimes can be repaired, and otherwise, you have to change it, and to open the back cover and reach that (Part no is (DZTY000357 Paper Lift Motor Assembly, lift up drive).

Some of the possible causes:

  • Remove the tray and check for paper behind the tray.
  • Check paper falls back causing the gears to break.
  • Check cassette Lift Motor connector.
  • Replace the Tray 1 lift motor.
  • Check the Mainboard.
Good luck.

I get an error message E02-01. Any idea what that is?

yep!
e2-01 means there is a machine error of lifting motor assembly for tray #1.
For sure this time you can't use your tray #1.
you may check it sometimes there's just a paper clogged at the rear of the paper tray. just remove your 2nd tray to see if there is a paper clogged inside. Otherwise the cover/case of the lifting motor is damaged and you will need a service technician to fix and replace it.
:)

... you can still use the bypass paper tray.

Load paper error message when using legal paper. Paper tray is full and still get message. Loaded feeder tray and got clear paper jam. Yet letter size paper worked in the paper tray.

you have to program the paper size anytime you change the size of paper you use in a lot of panasonic machines. This is done through the
function" feature... go intofunction... general settings...scroll down to key operator mode...the code will be "00000000" (8- 0's) and it will be in one of the first screens up

How to set the paper size in the trays?

most are set by the trays itself, when you adjust the "guides" that go against the paper it adjust some levers on the side or back of the tray which push on some sensors behind the tray.
Some however you need to turn a dial in the tray to the paper size you need.
make sure the guides are snug against the paper, the dial or settings are correct and that there is no paper behind the tray.
Also I'm not sure what country you are from but in the US we do not use A4

Panasonic DP 2500 paper tray error

Make sure that you don't have too much paper in the tray. There is an overfill idicator on the back of the tray. Push the tray in firmly. Then try to print. If not, reset the printer by pushing "reset" button.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
