Is there a way of turning up the sound on my Thomson cordless headphones other than the wheel on the side which I have to the highest level already and the sound is very poor?

Most likely it's a programming thing but it could be you have a loose wire... Never no.. Mite try getting a cheap pair try to see if the same problem occurs.. Thanks good luck
Hi Anonymous, you are surely taking the signal for your wireless headphones, from the headphone output of your Bose sound system
This usually cuts the sound in the external speakers
Try to find another type of audio output for your headphones
Comment on what Bose system you have, so I would try to find a better solution
I hope you comment

I assume you have already tried using the buttons on the side of the TV to adjust it? I would just do a factory reset on it. Enter the TV main menu. Select factory reset to return the TV Menu settings to the factory default values. If this does not fix it unplug to TV for 45min to do a complete hard reset.
are you using the monitor's volume or are you using speakers? If its monitor volume, I would say go into the main menu of the monitor by pressing the menu button. Then go to the volume setting and raise the level. If the volume level is already on the highest, you may want to consider using another solution to monitor sound, such as speakers or headphones connected to your computer.
Is the height adjuster tight on both sides? if loose the bolt holes may be elongated, both sides set the same? any wheel wobble indicating worn out wheels?.if it checks out as good put the machine an a known hard level surface such as a garage floor and check the clearance by turning the wheels by hand without putting pressure on them, If the wheel still slips the mowing deck may be warped or bent. if all wheels are original there shouldn`t be a question of mismatched wheels ie:different sizes.
Cordless phones are often of the infra red type and can be connected directly to the AV line out sockets (rca or scart, left/right audio out) on your TV or VCR. Since the audio is taken off prior to the TV sets volume control it is at a fixed output level. You can then turn down or mute the volume on your TV without affecting your phones sound level.
The chance of both speakers going bad at same time is remote. Your ipod is at fault and has something wrong with its output circuits. Check to make sure that there is no muting circuit inadvertently turned on.
Turning the transmitter on and off (Fig. 5)
Turn on the sound source. This automatically activates the
transmitter and the green LED “ON/OFF” lights up. If the sound
source is turned off, the transmitter is automatically deactivated
after approx. 3 minutes (the LED “ON/OFF” goes off).
Note: The automatic level control only functions if the volume of the
sound source is sufficient.
