Hello. I have a RCA LED50B45RQ TV that has standby light illuminated when turned on with remote white flashes on left side of screen for a couple seconds with no audio or video.

Your RCA LED50B45RQ TV appears to have a problem with the display and audio.
When the TV is turned on and the remote is used, the standby light illuminates, and the screen flashes white on the left side without audio or video.
Various factors could be to blame for this problem.
A few troubleshooting tips are provided below:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure that all the connections between your TV, cable box, or streaming device are securely plugged in.
  2. Check the settings: Ensure that the TV is set to the correct input and that the cable box or streaming device is set to the correct output.
  3. Check the backlight: Some TVs have an adjustable backlight setting. Ensure the backlight setting is turned on and set enough.
  4. Check the cable: If the cable that connects the TV to the wall outlet is damaged, the TV won't turn on. Try unplugging the TV, waiting a few minutes, and plugging it back in.
  5. Check the power supply: The power supply could be malfunctioning. It could be damaged or not provide enough power to the TV.
  6. Check the Main Board: The main board controls all TV functions. It could be malfunctioning, which is causing the TV not to turn on or display correctly.
  7. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. Your TV may require repair or replacement.

The screen is not receiving an input signal or data. Or the input section of the screen is defective. If you have already replaced the transmission to the screen board, then you have a defective screen.

We were watching and screen just went black model # LED55G55R120Q

Here's some troubleshooting steps to take: With the TV on and listening to a program, shine a flashlight on the screen. If you can see a faint picture the LED driver is bad. If you cannot see a picture the T-Con board is bad. You can get parts here and fix it yourself. It's easy. TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy

Flatscreen Television isn't turning on. I'll plug it in and the light to the left side turns red with a black screen.

Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Hi. I have an old RCA tv, model # T09081bc. I was hoping to hook up my Playstation 2, but the best result I've gotten was a black screen. I have two different cables for it, one that plugs into the cable...

After you plug the Yellow (video),Red (audio 1) and White if Stero (audio 2) turn the Playstaion on, now turn to chanel 3. does it work? if not look for selector on TV (video input, aux) or use up-dn chanels until you get playstation screen. You can also plug the round antenna cable from TV to unit and set TV to 3 or 4.Good Luck.
