I have 3 of these humidifiers. One particular unit is constantly filling. The water supply solenoid has been replaced twice. The last time the HVAC guy was at my house he replaced the solenoid valve and said he tested it thoroughly. He said it worked. Within 3 hours of him leaving my house I checked the unit and it was constantly filling again. The solenoid valve is definitely not turning of the water supply even if the power to the solenoid or power to the entire humidifier is disconnected. If the manual water supply valve is closed the water supply stops and the water level in the chlorine filter housing drops 1-2 inches. The water level in the chlorine filter housing of another humidifier unit installed in the same room (different furnace) doesn't react this same way. Any thoughts?
