You can not set the date..it MUST be returned to Seiko for repair. A perpetual calendar watch does not lose the date if it does something is wrong. Seiko will repair for you.
there's nothing to be change in your watch. most of watch brands is like yours but there are some watch brand that are selling perpetual calendar watch that you don't have to change every end of the month or even in leap year. if you want that, just look for the "PERPETUAL CALENDAR". You have to submit all the details of your watch and then you may find out manual. You can download manuals for different movements used by Invicta. You can contact them to get the needed info.
You should be able to pull the crown out 1/2 way and turn the crown clock-wise and you should hear a click and the calender should move one day. Don't change when the hands when the time is between 10 and 2 , just manually move the hands past that time , and re-set afterwards. If that dosn't work let me know ,.There are other types of those watches , but the way I told you is the most common.
