My sony vaio PGC-3E2L wont turn on, not even when i plug the charger. The only thing it does is turn on the battery and power lights only when i press the power button but turn off when i release it

Take out the battery and try with just the charger, Batteries for computers have regulators in them and when the batteries die, the computer wont boot.

I tried doing it without the batery but it only flashes a blueish led under the power lights but still doesnt turn on

Check the charger with a volt meter to see if it is putting out the right voltage. IF it is then it might be the connection in the laptop where the charger plugs in. If not then the charger is bad and the battery is dead too. Replace the charger and see if the battery takes a charge

Maybe your battery was damage due to over charging it. You need to replace your battery. The desktop icon can says it's fully charged because you have plugged it and those are the indication that your battery was damage if you unplugged the AC power. The battery of the laptop are disposable and it cannot be repaire. The best solution of your problem was to replace your battery.

I want to clear CMOS

The CMOS is a block of static RAM that will lose its data if power is removed.
most newer laptops are using a small block of Flash RAM (perhaps a block of addresses within the Flash BIOS chip itself) or other type of EEPROM chip to store the password.

No amount of removing batteries and pressing power buttons will change it

Wont turn on

Hi,
Please unplug the battery (remember to disconnect the charger),
then, hold on the power button for a minute,
after that, connect the charger, and try to power on the laptop.

If it didn't work, you need to visit the technician

If it worked, disconnect the charger and connect the battery
If it worked, things are going well.
If not, the battery have problem.

Try A Hard Reset

Remove the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord from your Sony Vaio laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the laptop.

This clears your RAM and is like a hardware reset.

Replace the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord
and turn your laptop on.

If that does't work try removing ram and reinstall. Sometime this works with these laptops.

you mean even power light is not on? try to do power drain by removing the battery and charger then press the power button for a minute then plug back in the charger then try to turn it on..if it is still not turning on it could be a LCD issue or motherboard.
