Panasonic SA-PT467 I am trying to find the original description of my DVD home theatre system. I cannot find anything about it!!

Firstly I would run a Disc cleaner before I did anything else. They are cheap and effective. You can usually find them in computer or electronics stores(Radio Shack for instance)

The system has a locked / unlocked toggle sequence on the main unit by holding down stop (or Play) and then tapping the power button. Use this sequence lock or unlock the DVD / CD drawer.

Anything that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input (except PHONO). and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono".

it did it to me i had to make sure my telly was on the right channel and the yellow video cable was in correctley at the back of the machine

Try cleaning the pickup with a cleaner disc-i'm assuming this unit IS supposed to play DVDs, of couse!
