im afraid to say that your display has gone the best thing you can do is call the supplyer of the tv if its under warranty or call samsung. the cost of a new display will be 400 - 500 pounds so you may have to buy a new set.

Be sure the TV has no problem by playing a DVD player. If problem remains unchanged, call for service because a few boards could involve to. In the worse case, panel should be defective.

That is the sustain and buffer boards. Try to find a repair shop to repair on the component/board level because the cost of new boards out weighs the replacement cost.

Defective panel, or bad ribbon cable that is associated with the color lines. ribbon cables are at the bottom, or th sides and will be in line with the color lines on the panel remove cables clean and reinstall.
