Is there something to clean out for waste? Dishwasher is stinky

Pour some bleach into the stinky backwash. I know that this is not good for the environment but it will take the stench away while you get a new dishwasher. Sorry but you have plumbing problems out of my range.

First check to see if you have a filter in the bottom, it may need cleaned out if you have one. The empty the dishwasher, add a pack of KoolAid Lemonade to the soap dispenser just as if you are adding detergent. Do not use any detergent, just the Koolaid and then run the wash cycle.
It has to be the Lemonade Koolaid (not the sweetened kind). The citric acid eats the deposits that make it stink. I did this and my dishwasher smells like new again and it was pretty stinky.

sounds like your drain pump may be blocked.
check to see if waste drainpipe is blocked,
if not try and see if your can get machine to drain into a bucket.
if not drain pump may have something blocking it internally if machine has a filter clean it out, if no filter remove drain pump a clean it out or replace if faulty.

The bottom of your dishwasher should have a big screen in the bottom that covers the drain. The screen and the drain may need cleaning. They can get clogged with grease and stuff over time. I would recommend taking out the screen and cleaning it with soap and water, cleaning out the drain if there is anything in it, and then running the dishwasher with a dishwasher cleaner solution.

Most likely you have an accumulation of waste in the waste pipe or filter that takes water out of the dishwasher to the waste pipe. Check and clean this regularly. In addition, you can buy dishwasher cleaning solutions, which are usually just a small bottle that gets placed int he dishwasher alone and the washer is run through a normal cycle. This helps clean the washer out and deodorizes it as well, however, the odor is probably from a dirty or clogged filter to the waste pipe/tube.

you are back flowing waqter from your drain into your dishwasher make sure your drain are not clogged check your p trap to see if it clogged
