Have you tried any other outlets on a different circuit? It might be that there is already close to max load in the circuit and when you plug in the freezer it's enough to trip the circuit.
The next thing it could be is that the breaker is weak and needs to be replaced.

Loud clanging noise from Kenmore upright freezer

Check the condenser fan (outside at the rear) and check the coil isn't baking hot. Electronics or board wouldn't cause your symptoms. Check the simple things first!

My kenmore elite undercounted ice maker keeps blowing the reset button the outlet located on the wall nearby. We hadnt had an issue with the reset button prior to a recent repair made to motor and...

Maybe there was something bumped or overlooked during the cleaning/repair process like a cooling fan?
Did you add any other appliances to that circuit before/after/during the repair to increase amperage draw on the breaker?
Try replacing the overload protection outlet with a new one as it may be faulty/worn out. Good luck

Need manuel for a Kenmore frostless quick freezer model #253.9280410

I don't have a manual but these are fairly simple. On the back inside below is a defrost heater and terminator sorta like this:themobilian_747.jpg
The cold control maintains the temp and their is a timer that either puts it in run for 10 hours or defrost for 21 minutesthemobilian_748.jpgThe compressor relay goes out on these. The defrost heater or defrost heater termination themostat can cause defrost failure if bad.Not much to these babys.

I have a 10 year old kenmore frostless freezer that I recently moved to my house that runs continuously. All troubleshooting causes check out ok

Are its condenser coils clean? they get dirty, youre thermostat may be bad but better stuck on than off! you can get an appliance timer rrated for 15 amps and set it off all night or 8 hours at least and it should be fine if not opened alot or compressor isnt tired

Loud shreaking sound coming from Kenmore Frost Freezer.

The fan behind the molding is hitting some ice build up and causing the sound. Sounds like the timer for the defrost isn't working. Try to turn off the unit for few hours or take off the molding in the freezer compartment and remove the ice build up with hair dryer.

Kenmore frostless 19 temp. control knob

i've pulled up the service diagram for it and there's no thermostat or temperature control but there's a limit sensor inside the freezer I'm sure that such sensor is failing and when it defrosts, it stays on to long, and the whole 15 min defrost cycles goes on causing the freezer to warm up, delaying the freezing process. I'm almost sure that the limit is going.
