• For some reason the internal calibration test has failed. It has to be sent to Beltronics

check the lens and make sure its clean, if not then its bad and needs to be replaced..

When powering up, the detector goes through a short diagnostics test to make sure everything is working as expected. If there is a problem detected during this time, a message like the one you have displayed will appear. You should contact Beltronics Customer Support to arrange service with one of the methods listed at the bottom of this post.

Had to send it off to Beltronics.A common problem they only seem to be able to repair.$150.Yeah,I said the same thing.1-800-341-2288can provide U w/ all that's needed.Thanks

If its still under warrenty Call Beltronics 800-341-2288 I had the same problem and they re-tuned the Detector and updated the firmware my Vector 985 was out of warrenty by 5 months and Bel repaired it for free. Hope this helps
