Stihl ms210c kill switch diagram - Stihl Garden

One wire is ignition module kill (primary of a magneto) and the other is ignition module frame (engine block).

The two wires run separate to the kill switch which is a momentary single pole.

Yes it can be hard wired to bypass the kill switch but then how do you kill it. So no donor bypass it

The 08s has a metal shrouding.
1) The spark plug wire could be shorting around it's exit hole.
2) A coil 'kill' wire could be rubbing or shorting to the housing
3) The kill switch can be shorting internally

That would be the run and kill switch one goes to ground that would be kill

There is no diagram. it is a simple system the coil for the plug has a kill wire that runs up to the thumb switch.
page 31 of the service manual shows the connectors.
Make sure the wires are not rubbed through.

Make sure all the wires are hooked up to module.Then unplug ignition switch and test for spark.If you get spark then switch is bad.

That wire should go to the kill switch. IT just grounds out the magento. See the on off switch, and put it back on there.

when engine cool,, spray wd 40 into the switch and work it a dozen or so times and clen it out
