Go to device manager and uninstall device. Then remove card. Download driver from here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=DWL-G630&rev=DWL-G630 after installing driver plug the card back in.

You will have to use the Dlink software if this is going to work at all. I'm not at all certain this model is compatible with Windows 2000 as the documentation only refers to Windows XP because it requires the Wireless Zero Configuration service which was not included in Windows 2000.
