Sounds like an analog board problem--IIRC this has the audio amp on it.

You have a Bad Color Wheel,that is what is causing loud humming sound.

Color Wheel is Located Behind Lamp ,Pull Lamp out and with a Flash Light Look inside you should see Color Wheel. Color wheel spins 9,000 rpms per second

You have a bad audio output IC in the main board, you have a couple options as long as you don't use the sound from the TV...one is order a new main but if it was me I would take the back off and follow the wires that go to the speakers and unhook that plug.

Check the highvoltage board for a loose solder joint. Sound like a loose solder joint.

You Sr are experiencing the signs of a bad ballast. It's not able to keep up the voltage to light up the lamp. Therefore as a safety measure, it turns off.

Usually the next step would be to replace the SMPS (switch mode power supply) board. It provide power to the lamp and Ballast. Samsung recommends replacing ballast and smps together.

Make sure you have firmly seated the new Lamp. The next step is to go to the rear of the set and put your ear next to the Lamp Door while turning "ON" the tv with your tv remote.
You should hear a short buzzing sound. That is the Ballast "Exciter" firing up to light the Lamp. If you do not hear this buzzing then you probably have a bad Ballast. Ballast part# is BP47-00037A

I have the same exact tv as you and had the same problem. I took it to a repair shop who told me I needed a new DMD chip and that it would be 850 to fix. I used the information in thread above to get the part number and bought the chip on ebay for under 200. Here is a link to the listing CHIP
