You would likely have to replace either the display or, if equipped, the display driver integrated circuit.

If you're not an electronic technician, you'd probably be better off replacing the entire circuit board.

Microwave model RMV320SS clock/timer light dim

For Viking RVM320SS, that would be a fault in the backlight circuit.

If you're in the US or Canada, I regularly repair and upgrade these with the aim of correcting and preventing display errors. For details, feel free to contact me via my site below.

Always include your FULL model number*, FCC ID number*, and detailed symptom information. * from the tag in the cooking cavity or elsewhere on the oven (or send a clear photo of tag)

Dim display light brightness

Hi,

You will need to replace the display, call Dacor first to see if they will assist in a price break or replacement part. They are normally good with there customers. But there is no way to adjust the display, its just fading over time, like a light bulb.

I hope this helps

Viking Hood Microwave and Convection oven quit - does it have a fuse in the oven?

Yes they do.

If you had listed the model number, we would likely have been able to point you to the appropriate Sharp service manual.

Sienens microwave HFT879 fault

Exactly the same problem over here, but after our house was hit by lightning, so not really surprised about the cause of the problem. If you look closely, you can still see the displays on a very low light level. I can still choose a microwave program, turn the time etc, and see the time changing, but start won't just just work.

Power Problems on NEFF H7871 Combi Microwave

It would seem there is a bad connection in the fuse holder or in the wall socket or in the microwave itself. Maybe you can narrow it down to the microwave by trying other devices in the wall socket. If it's the microwave, it's time to call for serivce.
