Fisher and paykel washing machine top loader doesnt spin dry the clothes well. There isnt any water in the machine after the spin cycle but the clothes are heavy wet. What's could cause this?

No clue to whether a top loader or a front loader, which is why we ask for full 'make model (what it is)'.

If it is only in the rinse cycle, and if it is a front loader it is likely to be spray of a crack in the box that is the detergent drawer and fabric softener mixer. The only way to find out is to remove the top after a wash and look for where the water came from.

its common on these machines especially the bigger ones,chances are the suspension rods are worn out and need replacing

The damper suspension rods and bands are worn and need replacing.

It can be due to insufficient RPM of the dryer or due to water logging within the drum.

Hi just read your posting.Unless the machine shows an error code the diagnostic mode will not help.Does the machine agitate in the wash cycle?Does the machine drain the water completely?Does the machine spin the clothes dry.Please reply with additional information on the questions I have posted and I am sure I can help you rectify this fault.Looking forward to your reply.

This may be due to a safety switch that is usually tripped by the closing of the washer door going bad or is bad and will not let washer enter spin mode.

If it doesnt bang and crash around or doesnt seem like there it is out of balance (ie try running with nothing in it) then theres probably and electronic component problem

ok guest you can set a fisher and paykel machine to skip one rince cycle so as to save water,
