Many people say to push and hold down the Volume(+) and Power button at the same time. Push and hold for as long as twenty seconds until you see a green android with green text.
But, on some devices and some Android O/S versions it takes pushing and holding the Volume(-) and Power button and holding them both down for twenty seconds or so or until you see the green Android and text screen. This will show the Wipe Data/Factory reset option. Select this option by scrolling using the Volume(+) button and engage using the power button. Some devices give you a second screen with a list of *no no no no no* and one line of Factory Reset. Again, scroll to the Reset option using the Volume(+) option and select it using the power button.
If the above doesn't work, either your battery is dead or your device is dead.
It is similar to all the standard resetting in Android Environment . Press and hold the VOL DOWN and then POWER button at the same time for at least 10-12 seconds until after the start-up screen appears and is joined by some small print at the top of the screen then let them both go. After a few seconds you should see a couple of shapes in the middle of the screen called "Wipe Data" and "Android". The right "Android" will have a green highlight fading in and out. Wait a few more seconds until the term "Cold Booting Linux" appears in the list near the top of the screens and let it reboot
Well, a core application manager software (the one that helps you find and start apps when you click is broken). Please give a description of Tablet make/model(such as Apple iPad 5, Dell...) and OS name (IOS or Android 2.3 or so) This will help direct you appropriately..
Hello, Try doing this fortunately you will lose everything on your device unless you have it backup
Press and hold Power key + Home or your volume buttons to power on the phone and bring up a triangle with an exclamation point inside next to a green Android graphic. The background should be black and the lettering blue
use Volume buttons to scroll up or down Highlight "wipe data/factory reset"
Press the power button to confirm
Handset will ask you to "Confirm wipe of all user data"
Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
Press power button "Ok" screen prompt to
start wipeout of phone, handset will begin to format handset showing
progress with multiple lines of ellipses (....)
Handset may take from 5-20 minutes to format.
When format is complete, press power button "Ok" screen when prompted to reboot (Reboot system now will be highlighted)
You will see either an open box and the green android graphic when handset is rebooting
Handset will be cleared of previous personal data, and you will need to start over with initial set-up process.
In your settings menu if your using an android phone go to display settingsLook for the wallpapers and choose the background that you want. Do the same thing on the message option settings so you can change the background.Hope this little info has helped you..have a good day.!!
This is normal, this come straight of the satellite. To speed up process or bypass, reboot system. To Manually reboot this model, turn unit off like normal. Then when turning on, keep button down as it fires up, DO NOT release on button, keep it down until all fires up and even about 10 seconds passed, then let go. This reboots it and cleans up a lot of ****. Thanks Mike.
Please if this helps, please give me 4 thumbs up, to help me and others.
If it keeps rebooting itself at the G1 and Android screen, you might want to factory reset the phone and clear all the data as there may be a virus. To do this, when turning on the phone, hold the home button and the power button even while the G1 screen comes up. Keep holding these until an image with a triangle comes up. You will then wait 5-10 seconds, and press the home and power button again together. This will bring up the OS screen, and provide you 4 options. One of these options is to wipe and restore to factory. Do this and your phone should work fine after you reboot again.
