I have an old powerlift wr827 garage door opener, but have lost the remote. Is there a universal opener with a 10-pin setting that I can purchase that will work with this?

This is an old opener, completely obsolete, but you could try buying a clicker universal remote at home depot, lowes, etc. follow the programing instructions for all of the 10 pin settings. sometimes different models will cross over. If it doesn't work which is likely you can always return it.

Have Just Purchased a D.I.Y.Chamberlain PowerLift Plus ,Can i Connect old Hard wire Operating Switch to this unit

The old eye beams and controller may or may not work. The remotes definitely will not. If they do, they will probably cause problems over the long run. Best thing to do is to go ahead and replace them. But if you like the old button, give it a try. Some more basic older ones will work, you just may lose some of the features like door lock or light control.

I can't get my older garage door remotes to program with the new unit.Do I have to buy new remotes?

SORRY TO SAY.THE ANSWER IS YES.
THE NEW OPENERS ARE NOT ON THE SAME FREQUENCY.

YOU CAN PURCHASE REMOTES THAT WILL WORK WITH BOTH OLD AND NEW OPENERS (DUAL FREQUENCY).
BUT, OLD REMOTES WILL NOT WORK WITH THE NEW OPENERS.

This doesn't work for me. I've tried everything. I'm getting very frustrated, and am trying anything to prevent me from purchasing a new garage door opener. I just bought the condo, and received no garage...

It seems you have done everything right. I would return the universal remotes to Lowes and purchase the correct remote for the opener. There have been several people with universal remotes and this same problem.

I bought a chamberlain clicker and want to program it for use with a POWERLIFT garage door

This remote is compatible with your power lift. It should of come with a manual on how to program it as well. Each opener has a different sequence to program it so I can't just give a general answer. On a chamberlain powerlift look for the color of the button while programming it. If you need a copy of this manual you can get one at chamberlain.com. Thanks BB
