I have a LG model lds5811st dishwasher. The PCB Assembly Main board 6871DD1006FR is bad and was sent an replacement board 6871DD1006T. Two board color plug slots have been switched. Will this work?

All the other plug in wires are in the same location and have the same color code, except two of them. They are next to each other. On the old board the white plug is on the top with a red plug below it. The wire harness plugs do not match as well. can I attach the wires per plug color and orientation? I plugged the wires into the new board with the correct color match on the sockets. I made sure that the plug in terminals were plugged in with the one way plug in to match the new board. I had to file off the protruding ridges that align the plug in to the sockets. The dishwasher now works. So people that have the same problem with a bad PCB Assembly Main board 6871dd1006f(r) can replace it with the new 6871dd1006t. It shows that the original board has been discontinued. So my problem has been solved.

I f you have warranty on this please call them, you have a defective D/W.Unless there is no charge for repairs ,don't spend a dollar on what is going to be a on going problem ahead. To explain how to fix this is what the manufacturer should have done in the factory and not made 1 dollar off of this defective D/W until it proved this to be ready .What has happened to Quality Control ? Does it no longer matter ? Very sorry ,you should seek a refund ASAP.

SOURCE: ERROR CODE "LE " ON LG DISWASHER

You should check for that the pump motor turn freely. You will have to remove the sump cover in the bottom of the dishwasher and manually turn the pump impeller. (note: screw holding the impeller on the motor shaft is a left hand thread) There may be an object there or at the cutting blade a bit lower down that is preventing the motor from turning. Motor should turn easily, smoothly, and quietly. There have been issues with magnets in the motor windings cracking, resulting in hard to turn or noisy motors. Also, models produced with serial numbers 501KW_____ to 702KW_____ may have wiring which has become embedded in the door insulation material, softening the wiring insulation, and causing a short to the motor. The fix for that is to replace the wiring harness and outer door liner with one with a different type of insulation. (not much fun to do)

LG Dishwasher LDS5811ST does not drain last rinse out. LE code displayed. Did the shutoff of power. Most say PCB assembly, some asy control board - ?

The LE error or fault code indicates that the washer motor is either overheating or has lost connection to the motor control circuit board. Turn off the machine for 30 minutes to let the motor cool down. Then, restart the washer. If the code comes back immediately the motor is not likely to be at fault and so you should check the wiring from the motor to the motor control board. Also, check the wiring and condition of the rotor position sensor, also called a HALL sensor. If the code doesn't come back on immediately, but returns after the washer has run for a while, the motor stator may be defective

LG dishwasher model # LDS5811ST won't turn on

Hi

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue returns after its cleaned then try to reset the dishwasher control by pressing the HEATED DRY button and hold it for 15 seconds, if its still not resolved then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have and LG nodel #LDS5811ST and after ad couple of minutes it stops with the code LE showing in the time window, what does this mean!

The wire harness has probably degraded and broken inside the door panel of the unit.

This unit may need a new wire harness, Main PCB, Sump and inner door liner.
Depending on serial#

Contact LG @ 1 800 243-0000 they may help you out.

This is a known issue on older dishwashers.

I have a LG diawsher, model # LDS5811ST that is

Display Condition LE = Motor Error

Possible Cause For Error Occurrence:

Wiring connection is OK?
The Impeller of Washing Pump is
locked.
The rotor of Washing Motor is
locked.
The Blade is locked.

Remedy:

Check the wiring connection.
Replace the cause of restriction.
Replace the Washing Motor.
Replace the PCB.

LE means locked motor disassemble the filter and work your way down to the macerator(steel chopper blade) remove it and see if the side labeled "this side up" is really up, its in english... dont think the chinese labourers paid attention to the warning cause i have seen alot that were wrong way
You also should remove the door panel and check for a broken wire (usually the blue one)

If all the wiring checks out - it is most likely a broken or locked up impeller.

Lg - LDS5811ST Dishwasher OE Error Code

hi
The most common cause of an OE error code on a modern LG dishwasher is:
1. Blocked drain hose
2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction)
3. Failing drain motor.
else you need to REPLACE THE PCB POWER CONTROL BOARD
