Why won't my nook hd+ connect to google play store version of the Facebook app? Nook Software is 2.2.1 version.

Everytime I click on the FB app, it just stays on the blue page with the FB logo. Won't go any further. Also, my FB games (I.e. Candy Crush Saga games) won't connect to FB either.

You need to have a google account to be able to access its playstore. As for the facebook, try to log in again. Lately they constantly ask for login to verify true acct holders.

I didn't mean to mark your comment as unhelpful. I thought I was doing the opposite actually.

Anyway, I do have a play store account. I've had these game apps, and others, for quite awhile now. I've never had this problem before.

Google play store is installed on my nook hd+ but won't open

Wipe the play stores cache. Go to settings, apps, all, Google play store, and clear cache.

If that doesn't work than uninstall and reinstall the play store.

I cant not use google play store on my nook hd plus i used too but now it force closes

When you uninstall updates to Google Play Store you are actually uninstalling updates to the Google Play Store app itself and not your other installed applications and their settings what you're actually doing is downgrading the Google Play app itself to the version that came shipped on your nook HD Plus. I know this Uninstall Updates wording tends to freak a lot of folks out because they think it means all updates to everything. In the app itself sometimes this is necessary if a bug is introduced into the most recent version of the Google Play app. Don't worry over time the Google Play app itself will automatically update itself again. If newer versions still have a bug on your system just uninstall updates again until they get it fixed. Over the last two and a half weeks a minor bug was discovered in Google Play that the very second you entered an apps description page Google Play would immediately stop responding to the system and crash. I sent a blind email to a Google support email address I hoped could forward it to the Google Play staff. I sent the email in about this problem about a week ago. It least on my Nook HD plus for the past two and a half days this problem seem to have corrected itself. Knock on wood.

You are the second question in a week about this very same problem between the Google Play Store app and Nooks. Hope this answers both questions and provides a solid workaround should Google Play Store ever get buggy again in the future.

My nook will'not change to numbers.stays on letters.any suggestions?

I assume you mean the Nook keyboard doesn't allow switching between numbers and letters. The built in Nook keyboard isn't the smartest or only keyboard app out there. Now that it's totally free strongly recommend you go into the Google Play Store and install SwiftKey. One hour using it and you'll wonder why you ever put up with Barnes and Nobles chunky idea of a keyboard. Even Google itself has their own keyboard app. You can have multiple keyboard apps installed at the same time. Just use the Switch Keyboard option to toggle between then.
As far as SwiftKey is concerned one of the main features that first sold me on it is it can be resized. I always hated the Nook keyboard just took up so much of your available screen space leaving so little for the input area. Did you know SwiftKey can be setup to show a numbers row at the top just like a regular PC keyboard? Also it can learn your typing patterns over time and predict the most likely word you will use next. Just click the word in the predictions bar.

Google

Try going to your Apps settings and uninstall Google's updates. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling Google completely and then reinstalling.

Can i get on facebook witha nook tablet

With the Nook Color software update in April 2011, Nook Color owners can download and install a Facebook application from the Nook Store on the Barnes and Noble e-Book reader.
Once you install a Facebook app on your device, you can follow and add status updates along with anything else you would do on Facebook.
Access the Nook store on your device and choose from the available Facebook apps created specifically for the Nook Color.
Tap the "Nav Arrow" to open the Quick Nav Bar.
The arrow is at the bottom center of the screen.

Tap "Shop" from the Quick Nav Bar to open the Nook Store.
At the bottom of the Nook Store page is a Search field.

Tap inside the Search field.
A keypad appears on the screen.

Enter "Facebook App" in the Search field.

Review the search results.
When you tap a search result, such as FriendCaster for Facebook, a page opens with an overview of the application and customer reviews.

Tap the price button for the Facebook app you want to install on your Nook.
If it is a free app, the button will be labeled "Free."

Tap "Confirm," and the Facebook app you chose automatically downloads and installs on your device. Tap the "App" icon in the Quick Nav Bar to find apps you've added to your Nook.
