These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

My panasonic tc-p50g15 red light blinks three times wont turn on

The 3-blink power light code on this model indicates a fault in the A-board (the one with all the input jacks) on the 3.3v line, according to the service manual for this model. The easy solution would be to replace that entire board (Panasonic part# TXN/A1FFUUS), however its somewhat difficult to find in stock now and when you do, it tends to be expensive. I have the same T.V. with the same problem. Currently, I am trying to isolate the exact board component responsible for the failure, but as of yet no luck on that. If I do find it, I'll post back with more information on what the problem was with mine. Meantime hopefully this at least helps you and others with the same issue to narrow the problem down a bit. :)

No picture or sound on a Panasonic plasma tv tc-p50st30? Replaced power board and still same problem. The power light comes on and stays on. No blinking.

Try to unplug the TV for about 20 minutes and then press and hold power button on the TV for about 10 seconds to reset your television and plug TV back in and see if that resolves the issue. If they problem still is showing up then the screen is broken and the back light is not working anymore and needs to be replaced.

Panasonic Viera TC-P50G15 blinks 5 times

I want to ask about the responses here. I also have the TC-P50G15 and it is suffering from the 5 blink issue. According to the manual, it says to check the A-BOARD, but the responses here are talking about the Power Board or Y-Sustain.

I really would like to save this TV, but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars in replacement parts taking a gamble at whether that is or isn't the issue.

Is there any way for my to identify for sure if the issue is the A-BOARD vs POWER BOARD?

the problem is it is locked in store mode. I had to call panasonic to fix it, this is what they had me do.
1 hold the volume down on the tv while holding the menu button on the controller.
2 after the screen changes to the check menu, hold the off switch on the tv untill it turns off.
3 unplug the tv for 30 sec.
4 plug it back in and turn on the set.
5 select home option
