I cant hear my ringtone on my blackberry curve

Okay I had the same problem, if you have a Blackberry 8100, go to media, video files, and play a video...if you have no sound tap the top button once quickly (it's the silver buttonon top which has a speaker icon on it with a line go through it,if you still hear no sound use the volume keys on the sound
and you should hear the video playing, which in turn will turn on all you volumes for you phone to ring
etc.

My speaker does not work for my Blackberry 8703e. I can hear thru the regular calling speaker, however the one that sound comes from for ringtones and speaker phone does not work.

Hello there!

All I can advise to you is you have to bring your Blackberry phone to your dealer. Make sure that it is still covered by the warranty. If not, you need to bring your unit to a service center near you to check further the speaker within.

My blackberry bolds ringtones dont work all it does is viberate

Make sure the speaker phone works. play the ringtones in the media folders if they play your phone's speaker is good, if they dont your speaker is bad.

If the speaker is good then go to the sound profiles and advanced to edit the profile of your choice... make sure it is the one you are using. Make sure it is set with ringtone volume play sound always

Blackberry Curve 8330 will vibrate, but no ringtones, not even in profile - it's like the speaker is broke?

try turning off your phone and remove the battery and wait for some seconds and put the battery back in, now turn it on and check.

Cannot hear the dial tone or the person on the other end

Your speaker could be going out.  When making a call press the $ button to activate the speaker.  See if that function works.
Adjust the volume with the volume control on the right  side of the as needed.
