To reset the maintenance count 1. Turn off the printer 2. Press and hold the 2 and 6 buttons simultaneously. 3. Turn on the printer. 4. Release the buttons after 10 seconds. The Configuration Menu appears on the LCD. 5. Touch Reset Maintenance Counter from the Configuration Menu. 6. Reset Maintenance Counter appears in the header and Yes and No appears below the header. 7. To cancel the reset operation, press Back or No. All other button presses are ignored. 8. To initiate the reset operation, select Yes. The maintenance count resets to zero and the LCD returns to the Configuration Menu

Your power supply may need to be replaced or the printer if it had a power surge could be fried. I would recommend replacing your power supply by going to a local printer store and see if they have used ones, or if it is a fried mother board you may need to replace your printer. You could also have the printer assessed by a technician to verify that this is the cause.

Hello sir; I don't think so, I believed something drop inside the paper tray, therefor, the paper go one side the other side can not move that way skew drag thepaper to pne side, checck it out and clean up!

removed memory off the system board restarted printer. came up to an error no memory found.
powered down and reinstalled memory on board in a different slot and restarted unit...
NO ERRORS......

replace the mother board of the printer and that is the only way your printer can work very well again

OK, a couple of things... Some earlier Lexmark units had code on both a RIP board (raster image
processor) and an engine board. In this case, the code would have to be reloaded into both
boards. Fortunately, this can be done even if the printer will not boot to a ready state. However, if
this has already been done sucessfuly, the problem may well not be the printer but rather something
in the data stream. To confirm this, remove any and all data cables and reboot the printer. If it comes ready and you can print all the internal pages including the network config pages, then it is likely the
problem is the data stream. One must be careful when the printer is controlled by a print server
because the end user may not have control over the print que. If a corrupt or printer incomprehensible
job is stuck in the que, the printer will go to a 900 condition as soon as the network interface
initializes. This will continue until the print que is cleared.
