Since last update for Halloween I cannot open the app. Click on app &"imangi" comes up then goes back to the app screen. I am going to lose my daily challenge

Is it possible that your Facebook apps are not up to date? Go to the app store and then click on your updates and be sure to update the messenger app if it is not up to date. Alternatively, you can go to facebook.com on your safari browser and message from there.

Try and see if there is a software up date for the app go into the App Store then updates see if there a update should come up if there 1

Double click the home screen and kill the facebook app and the facebook messenger app

Then try reopening both applications.

On your iPad, open the App Store by tapping its icon.

Google Play Services needs to be updated from time to time. It seems to keep getting bigger and bigger. First clear the cache. Then see if that solves the problem. Likely it won't. Then you can clear the data. It that doesn't work for you then click on *uninstall updates.* This will reset the Google Play Services to original factory. Reboot and make sure you have a good wi-fi connection as the Google Play Services should connect to the Google Play Store and update automatically. If it doesn't, then open the Store app and select *My Apps* *All* and scroll to Google Play Services.and click *Update*.

Note: the Store App, itself, might be slow and balky until the updated Play Services is installed and running.

Here's a hint. If you do the above and delete the updates from the Google Play Services app on your device, when you boot up your device might act balky - just give it a few minutes as it's probably connecting and downloading the Google Play Services updates automatically. Google Play Services is important for just about everything that communicates with Google so don't expect all the other Google apps to work until the updated version of Google Play Services is installed and working.

This is usually a memory error. You may have too many apps open and need to close them.

Double click the home button to bring up all the open apps on your iPad. They will list in a line across the bottom of the screen. If you are on iOS7 or later you simply swipe the screen shot of the app upwards to close the app completely. Then go back to your home screen and open the app as you normally do. Assuming this app is on an iOS device (Apple). Following these Several steps should resolve your issue, firstly quit the app entirely by using four fingers swipe up on the tablet, or press the home button twice, either step will show the active apps, find the Facebook app, then with a single finger swipe up, this step should see the app move upwards on the screen, quitting the app. Theis next step requires you to hold the power button and the home button at the same time, until the device shutsdown and the logo appears, then let go of both buttons allowing the device to start/boot completely. Locate your Facebook app, start it, does the problem still exist? If after the above steps you still have the same issue, you can delete the app, by placing your finger over the app & holding until the app jiggles and shows an "x" in the top left corner of the app graphic, touching the "x" will remove the app from your device, you can then re-install the app, finally you may simply need to check to see if the app needs to be updated, by opening the AppStore, and selecting Updates, if an update for Facebook is available for you it will show up here.
