SOURCE: Ge Profile XL44 - Everything works except the Oven, it just stopped

I figured out what the Issue is with my oven. I took off the back panel, a wire which runs from the teperature control knob to what I think mught be the thermostat is burnt off. I cleaned the wire and temporarily twisted it back on and the oven works now. I will call a tech tomorrow to replace the wire and put the tester on it to make sure the thermostat works properly so the wire wont burn off again or catch the oven on fire.

Hi, You will need to use a 1/2" wrench and turn the orfice for the oven 2 turns counter clockwise.
Make sure you flip the plunger over on the regulator also.
After doing these things, watch the flame in the oven to make sure no other adjustment is needed.
Please let me know if this helps or if I can assist you further.

The control panel went out the oven fan still blows but the oven does not heat up nor do the panel light up

if this is a new oven/stove its possible there is a fuse that has went out. pull away from wall (unplug) start looking everywhere you can for a fuse, keep a magnet handy to keep your screws together, or just place in a bowl. also a flashlight is handy. try to hunt down the issue yourself if you cant afford to have it serviced. I had my refrigerator stop cooling , fan was blowing just no cold air, I pulled it out and looked inside the motor area and noticed a wire had been chewed in half by a mouse, unplugged it ,spliced the wires back together, black tape, plugged back in and shazam ! fixed..then the mouse hunt began!! good luck

GE Profile stove not working

If neither bake or broil ignitors work you must first verify voltage to the parts.
Most likely a defective electronic control.

Ge oven codes

F2 means your oven temp got too high. At least, that's what the control boards thinks. More than likely you have a bad oven sensor or bad wire to it or a bad connection somewhere between the board and sensor.

GE Profile Performance Double Oven

I was getting only the F0 error code. The wiring diagram inside the stove said F0 indicated a bad off button on the keypanel. There were instructions to check the ribbon cable on certain lines, with values for the resistance. It seemed to check out, so I ordered a replacement and voila, it worked.

GE Profile Spectra XL44 oven wouldn't light, stove top and broiler works

We have our second GE stove and it has started to do the same as the rest of you.  Our first stove began to suffer igniter issues after 4 or 5 years.  I called GE and was given a simple test procedure for the igniter using a multimeter that I don't remember and likely wouldn't post regardless lest someone do things incorrectly... In any event, as I understand, the gas flow is tied to the igniter temp.  As the igniter ages, the temp that it can achieve gets lower. Eventually, it hits a point where the temperature isn't sufficient to reliably ignite the gas and our problems start.  The solution is fairly simple.  Replace the igniter. So, call a repair person and tell them the problem.  They can come out and instal the new igniter.  Unless you are a licensed or certified repair person, DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF.  Let the pros handle repair to gas appliances.
