I keep getting Finalising Time remaining 20s. Gets to 0 and then starts all over again....

Replacing the defective door switch could be a start although the actual problem could be a defective cycle timer.

Robert. You have a bad water valve OR completely clogged up filter screens on the valve. My past experience with this machine with this type of problem is to replace the valve assembly. part Number W10364988

The first thing I would check is for an ice build up around the evaporator coils in the freezer. If there is a lot of ice then you have a defrost circuit failure. If you don't have an ice buildup, then I would suspect the start relay or capacitor next. Then I would move onto the thermostats and the power control board.

if it freezes you and get a new defrost timer with a wire on it and it will have diff times on it

well if this happens again & again, then there's surely some problem with ur updates that keeps on gettin installed.,..
So in order to avoid the Restart Problem,
Try to start ur system in safe mode by pressing F8 Key at the time u start ur Machine..
Now select Safe Mode..
After it loads few files, it looks as if its hanged, give it some time to process..
after it gets started, select system restore, from Start -> Programs ->Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore..
Now select the restore point before u installed ur updates..
After Restoring, it will automatically restart..

I have same problem. Gotten worse with time. Am currently upgrading firmware from www.philips.co.uk which should help

most likely a new controller switch only...
