How to correct Tread climber TC5500 error code NIPP COMM (Belt Shut Down).

The error is NIPP COMM (Belt Shut down) is indicated on the display. The machine was working fine on Thursday when I tested it. I moved the machine to a different residence today plugged it up and that was what the display was showing. Is there anyway to fix this error message.

I have a tc5500 bow flex tread climber it is showing a 070 error code what dose this mean

The error code 070 on a Bowflex TreadClimber typically indicates an issue with the speed sensor or the speed sensor circuit. This error can occur if the speed sensor is not providing the expected feedback to the treadmill's control system. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. **Inspect Speed Sensor:**
- Locate the speed sensor on your Bowflex TreadClimber. It is usually located near the drive motor.
- Check for any visible damage, loose connections, or misalignment. Ensure that the sensor is properly positioned and the magnet is in place.
2. **Clean Speed Sensor and Magnet:**
- Dust or debris on the speed sensor or magnet can affect its performance. Clean both the speed sensor and the magnet carefully.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away any dirt or debris.
3. **Check Wiring:**
- Inspect the wiring connected to the speed sensor. Ensure that there are no frayed wires or loose connections.
- Follow the wiring from the speed sensor to the control board, checking for any signs of damage.
4. **Test the Speed Sensor:**
- If you have a multimeter, you can test the speed sensor for continuity and proper resistance. Refer to the treadmill's user manual for the specifications and testing procedures.
5. **Inspect Drive Motor:**
- The drive motor plays a role in the speed control system. Check the drive motor for any issues, and make sure it is running smoothly.
6. **Reposition Magnet:**
- Ensure that the magnet (usually attached to the pulley) is properly positioned near the speed sensor. It should pass by the sensor with each revolution.
7. **Perform a Hard Reset:**
- Turn off the treadmill, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes.
- Plug it back in, turn it on, and see if the error persists.
8. **Contact Customer Support:**
- If the issue persists after performing the above steps, it's advisable to contact Bowflex customer support or the manufacturer. They may provide further guidance or recommend service options.
Keep in mind that these steps are general suggestions, and the specific procedures may vary based on the model of your Bowflex TreadClimber. Always refer to the user manual for your treadmill for model-specific instructions and troubleshooting steps. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with the troubleshooting process, consider seeking assistance from Bowflex customer support or a qualified technician.

Why does my Bowflex TC5000 cut out?

If you're running the machine on a dedicated circuit then your unit is drawing too much current. This can be caused by friction and drag. Solution: Lube deck/belt. If problem persists, replace deck/belt. If you ignore this fix this will blow your controller. .
